Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Bit of a slow one here today but that's what happens when you wake up with a massive sinus headache. It's going to take a bit but will hopefully end soon. At least my favorite sign of spring has arrived as I spotted some lilacs out and about yesterday.
What did we do this week? Serra had a quiet one and tried to have a migraine that we were able to corral rather quickly. We are still not quite sure what triggers them. This coming week is a busy one with four extra rehearsals and two concerts. The end of the school year brings all of the year end festivities.
Our big treat this week was Amanda coming back!
She had an amazing semester and we are glad to get some time with her before she has to head back in a couple of weeks. Instead of a normal Junior year students attend classes during the summer after the Sophomore year. She is hoping to find a co-op or working internship for her spring semester away.
I really couldn't tell you what I did craftwise this week. I don't know if it is the headache this morning or if it was that life was all over the place. The postal service did bring two more treats.
The Spanish Peacock had a couple of sneaky updates and I was able to snag these two beauties! They are Victorian silk spindles and I can't wait to get some silk hankies to try on them.
Amanda may have only gotten home Friday but we already had a big treat as we went to see Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. I know that we are huge Marvel fans but do not understand why the critics are all over as it was absolutely amazing! We are seriously considering seeing it again next weekend because it was just so well done.
As for me this week was all over the place. I am extremely proud of my girls. I don't know how I got so lucky with them. They are becoming so much. Little bit of blue, little bit of anger, nothing that is detrimental or lasting just storms that have to be weathered.
This week! More fun with Amanda as she gets her wisdom teeth removed. Concerts for Serra in Symphonic and Jazz bands to finish the year. Me? More of everything including trying to relax and let go. Breathe, be, dream, Love, hope and I'll be back next week ;)
My son and I loved Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness but we were left quizzically asking why they don’t just fly instead of walking or running. :)
