Color inspiration and good-bye summer

Good morning and Happy Sunday Internetland! It's that time of week again where I give you an update on all things crafty and not so crafty in my little corner of the Fort.
This past week has seen a lot of heavy lifting and some news for some upcoming projects. The girls asked before our college visit tour if they could makeover their bedroom. After a week of a mass multitude of color swatches on the walls they narrowed it down to a pale sky blue. Monday was prep and clean, Tuesday paint and Wednesday move back in. Have to say that the crazy high temps this week certainly made it dry fast! They are very happy with the results and I love the fact that it's clean!
On the crafting side I have photos for the next two colorways that will be out in August! I got to thinking about one of my favorite things this time of year:

Palisade Peaches! I grew up on the Western Slope with these beauties and impatiently wait for the stands to open with them over here. These along with all of the green that we saw on our trip got me to thinking about where I grew up.
Colorado National Monument is just down the road from my high school and quite a contrast to the greens of New York. Next month I'll have two very different yarns available for you.
In other crafty news, I've been tapped by Yarn Crush for two crochet patterns for later on this year and been accepted to show my work at a month long event with Wolverine Farm here in the Fort.
As for this next week, the studio is back in order after being a substitute bedroom so the looms will be going again, the girls say good-bye to summer with music camp and marching band sectionals starting, and we get to celebrate a birthday. I'm sure there will be some more craft in there somewhere as well. Enjoy the sunshine and hopefully the peaches will be here soon :)
