Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Pastel winter sun is rising in the sky and yes, I did miss last Sunday. This time last week I was headed over the hill to spend some time with Daddy in Grand Junction. Thankfully I did not run into any snow on the trip over or back and had smooth sailing. Glenwood Canyon is always one of my favorite sights to see.
What happened over the last two weeks? Amanda and Serra enacted a plan to spend Thanksgiving together. They ate Ghost Burgers, Green Chile, and Lumpia Nachos, and had some good down time and sister time. I was glad the weather cooperated, and they didn't get caught in the lake effect snow that hit Western New York on both sides of Rochester.
As for this week, it was the last full one of classes! Amanda and her housemates also decided it was a great time to get sick together. As she says, she feels fine it's just that her nose hates her. Hopefully she can rest around finals and resume building. Serra had a lab final during this last week and attended the winter formal. It sounds like she had a great time. She has three finals coming up to successfully finish her first semester.
You could almost say I had a vacation over the last two weeks. I did very little over the holiday week and even though I took knitting with me to Daddy's, it never made it out of the bag. I am extremely grateful that work is remote, and I could take it with me. Hopefully my data usage didn't blow up Daddy's internet.
In other craft news, the next set of classes is now live on The Loopy Ewe website. Classes have been going strong, and I hope it stays that way. I am still working on the towels with Susan and have started the sleeves on Serra's sweater. I would love to get both of those projects finished in the coming weeks.
As for me and life in general, it feels good. Some things I thought I needed to wait on are coming together much faster and easier than expected. That tells me this shift is meant to be. It feels right and I am thankful the girls understand it and for the support I have received on it. I see it bringing more peace, productivity and purpose into my life and the things I want to do. The two weeks of down time have let me settle into it and embrace it.
Next week! Studying, resumes, the fafsa application and finals for the East Coasters. An appointment, decluttering and knitting to work on for me. Breathe, wonder, believe, Love, follow your instincts, and I'll be back next week :)
