Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I love the randomness of our Northern Colorado spring weather. Yesterday there was a dusting of snow on the ground and in the trees along with a foggy sunrise. I'm sure many of you are saying "It's April!" yet I have seen snow here much later. At least it is bringing much needed moisture to the area. What did we do this week? Good Morning and Happy Sunday! The sun is shining brightly outside today on the new growth of rich, green grass. Do you know why it is so green? Snow. Yes, Mother Nature gave us moisture again in the form of snow this week. The weather went for a roller coaster ride giving us the usual forty degrees of variation and extremes in precipitation. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! You wouldn't know it from looking outside today and seeing the green grass and the bright sunshine that we had a snowstorm on Monday. Seems we have another one in the works even though the calendar has turned to April. Not surprised about it really, the Rockies home opener is Tuesday so snow in the forecast is kind of expected. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! The sun is shining brightly through the sky after Mother Nature's little prank yesterday. She decided to remind us that it is only March, and not May by sharing four inches of snow. Less than I was anticipating over the spring break but a reminder that the year isn't as far along as we might want it to be. What did we do this week? Serra has jumped back into the flow with school. It is the last quarter of the year which has the tendency to fly by quickly. Straight A's for her third quarter report. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I've spent the week getting accustomed to the time change and I am watching the sun rise out my window. Spent the last hour and a half relaxing in bed. Used to, I would say that was lazy, now I am trying to change my mindset and accept when my body needs rest. What did we do this week? It was Serra's spring break so there has been a lot of sleeping in! We spent a day in Old Town taking care of errands for work and home.
