Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Fall is settling in nicely to my little corner of the Fort with the change in colors and cooler temperatures. It makes sleeping in much easier, even if Amanda doesn't think staying in bed until 7 am is late enough! I guess that's what happens when you're up at 5 during the week. What were we up to this week? The first round of chicken pot pie soup was a success and fall is here with the lower temperatures at night. Summer is trying its best to hold on to the day and I can attest to this with my wonderful sunburn from yesterday's market! Good Morning and Happy Sunday! The air in my little corner of the Fort is getting that fall chill and I love it. The leaves aren't ready to change their colors just yet but you can feel the difference in the air. What did we do this past week? Serra and her adventures with her knee made it to a full week of school without any problems. There were a couple of evenings that she was a little sore from going too low in a squat to get down to her band locker but compared to what she was dealing with before it is much better. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I think the only ones awake so far in my little corner of the Fort are myself and a puppy across the way that needs to go outside. The quiet is why I get up so early in the morning on a regular basis. Granted Serra doesn't make much noise herself but the world feels different when everyone is fast asleep. What did we do this week? Serra got the official check from the surgeon on Thursday that her knee is better. She has exercises to do but no scheduled PT. Activities as tolerated and the more she moves it the faster it will get better. She did a half squat yesterday with no issues...
