Good Morning and Happy Sunday! I am enjoying unexpectedly cool temperatures at the moment. I know it's summertime but it would be nice if it was not blazing hot today. What have we been up to this week? Serra has been having more fun with hair dye changing up her colors yet again. She also started an online driving course to start working on her license. Yes it is scary but she will also be 16 in January so I guess it's time. Amanda has survived the two week intensive calculus teaching and made a couple of new friends along with it. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! It's quiet so far in my little corner of the Fort. One of the benefits of waking up early I suppose. I'm just glad I can convince myself to go back to sleep when my body clock goes off at 530 am! What did we do this week? Serra finally got some relief with her knee. We saw a surgeon that suggested a cortisone shot and had it done on Monday. It took a couple of days to take effect but she is walking normally without pain for the first time in over a year if not longer this week. We will see how long it lasts and find out what the next steps are...

Yes, I had the joy of another dishwasher leak that again got the carpet as well as waking to Kitchen Lake Thursday morning. Thankfully it was an easy fix and the fans will be leaving Monday. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! The sun is out, the birds are chirping and it's already too hot today. At least it won't get to 100* like it did a couple of weeks ago. Last week! Serra and I received the newly ordered glasses much sooner than expected. I am very happy that she is wearing hers. As for me you wouldn't think that a .25 change in focus and magnification in a bifocal would make that much difference but it does. Yes I wear bifocals, it doesn't make me old it means I'm blind.
