Nights belong to fall and are blissfully cool making snuggling into the blankets a happy event. Day still belongs to summer with high temps, shorts and air conditioning. Amanda had the joy of dealing with her groupmates that don't understand what a deadline is along with presentations on their project ideas. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! It is finally cold in my little corner of the Fort and according to the wet cars outside it rained a bit too. The moisture wasn't only from the sprinklers startling me in the wee hours after an extremely weird dream. I was lucky to go back to sleep and clocked a good nine hours last night. Another unusual thing. This week belonged to the cats and dogs with the girls. One of Amanda's housemates has a therapy dog for her diabetes. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! We might finally be sliding into fall in my little corner of the Fort. The nights are cooler and my dear tree out front is starting to thin. The streetlight shines a little brighter into the window each night making it time to close the valance curtain for sleep. What did we do with the short week? Things so far sound pretty quiet for Amanda. Her main concern is getting the graduate committee to sign off on one of her classes so that it counts for her degree. Good Morning and Happy Sunday! A little gentler start this morning as I did not get out of bed when I first woke up at five. Fall is trying to arrive with the cooler temperatures in the morning that I love. What did we do this week? Amanda and Serra each had their first week of classes! So far it sounds like the semester is going to be good. Amanda is trying to confirm that the audioelectronics class she signed up for will count for credit and Serra is ready to get things moving with her full slate of classes and labs.
